Heather Kopecki, LCSW & BQH Practitioner
Meet
Heather was born and raised in South Texas, and currently resides in the Hill Country with her husband Kurt, and their dog, Everett Frank. She attended Texas State University and graduated with a Bachelor’s and Master’s of Social Work, focused on direct practice. Her passion for mental health started in high school, with a desire to become a counselor. She perused this desire in college, and has been “social work-ing” ever since.
The majority of her experience has been in mental health and addiction treatment. She specializes in working with adult, individuals facing anxiety, stress, depression, mood instability, self-image issues, substance use/addiction, childhood or generational trauma, and spiritual hypnotherapy.
Heather’s fascination with spiritual hypnotherapy began in 2015, after reading a book about a psychiatrist that used regression therapy for healing. This sparked years of her own research and interest, and she became certified in Beyond Quantum Healing or BQH in 2023.
In her free time, Heather enjoys being outdoors. Whether it’s hiking, swimming, fishing, reading, meditating, or playing with her dog, as long as she’s outside, she is happy! She also enjoys traveling and exploring new places, rock hounding, spending time with family and friends, music, and anything and everything therapy.
Heather’s approach
Heather’s main focus for therapy is building the relationship between client and therapist. She believes this lays the foundation for the therapeutic process. Being client-centered, Heather aims to meet the client where they are, while creating a warm, safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental environment where clients feel free to be themselves, and share their stories and vulnerabilities.
Heather is dedicated to empowering clients by offering personalized care that supports and meets their unique needs. Her primary objective is to offer a space that promotes healing, personal growth, and positive change.
